One of the shining stars here is their remarkable queso fresco and homemade salsas — especially the salsa verde — which customers rave about as a perfect complement to their meals. La Parrilla Suiza also offers great value with their Early Bird Specials, including dishes such as the Pechuga Emmolada and Alambre Ranchero, all served with generous portions that are sure to satisfy. I love coming to La Parrilla Suiza every year for my birthday! The soup and queso fresco are absolutely delicious, and I always look forward to them. The restaurant is consistently clean, and I was warmly greeted as soon as I walked in, which adds to the welcoming atmosphere. And I can't forget to mention their fried ice cream—it's so good! I was so excited to enjoy it that I forgot to take a picture, but I would recommend it to anyone. This place never disappoints!
We stopped by La Parrilla Suiza before catching a movie across the street and really enjoyed it! The fajitas for two were a great deal—plenty of food for the price—and the margarita was spot-on. The steak was definitely the standout (juicy and flavorful), while the chicken was a little on the bland side, but still enjoyable. Overall, we left full and happy, and I’d definitely come back.
If you're looking for a molcajete, this place has been one of the best I've had. It was loaded. Came here for Valentines Day. There was no wait.
The food here is always amazingly delicious! The only item on the entire menu that I don't care for is their house margaritas. I get instant heartburn from the triplesec and that ruins my dining experience. I recommend asking for a margarita without the triplesec of you have a sensitive stomach. Otherwise, enjoy the wonderful food and service!
This place is fantastic! It is decorated so well. Had a bar area and a main seating area. Relatively empty on Thursday when I went. Staff was super attentive and the food was great. I had beef enchiladas and got Christmas (red and green) style sauce. Although the best thing there was the salsa verde that came with the chips. That was my favorite. I love sauce though. The beef was cooked well, the chips were bomb and so were the beans and rice. I had a mezcal margarita which was a little smokier but it was good too. Can’t say enough good things about this spot! Also the had old Superman movies playing on VH1 which was a baller move.
This place is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Arizona. I’ve tried multiple dishes over the years and I have yet find something I do not like. I highly recommend the Champinoes Suizos as an appetizer. I also recommend the Molcajete for your entree!
